When it comes to Peace Building, many students and teachers are looking for simple but effective tools that can be used right away. Thankfully, while coordinating the "Help Increase The Peace" Initiative, we gained this tool called "Think Hip"
It can be printed out and kept in a pocket or folder. Or you can bookmark this page and refer back to it when needed.
The next time you are involved with a conflict or disagreement you can choose to Think about a peaceful way to handle it. This tool will help you generate ideas.
Of course just as with any tool, there are techniques that make the tool more effective. One way we use "Think Hip" is by telling stories about a time we had to use one of the suggestions on the list.
What are some of your ideas on how to use this tool?
